The Allotment
One of the largest allotment sites in Bristol with more than 200 plots, Fromeside Allotments is situated in Thingwall Park, Fishponds.
It has it's own Shop offering a large range of gardening products at discount prices, a toilet block and several plots adapted for use by the disabled.
Currently (27th February 2012) the site is effectively full and there is a waiting list of about 18 people. Whilst there are actually two plots available they are best described as "challenging" and unlikely to be let.
If you would like to look around, or add your name to the waiting list, the Site Representative Michael Woodhouse is usually available on Saturdays in the shop.
Alternatively a member of the management committee will always be available on both Saturdays & Sundays in the shop and will be happy to give whatever assistance they can on this or any other matter. The shop is open between 10:00am and noon on these days.
